Sunderland produced a disciplined performance to overcome Fulham but will face a difficult test against a Brentford side that have made an unbeaten start to the season.
The Bees opened their campaign with an impressive 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur before being held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United at Elland Road last weekend.
Keith Andrews’ side will be hoping to maintain that unbeaten start on home soil.
Sunderland, meanwhile, will be aiming to record back-to-back victories and continue the positive momentum generated by last weekend’s first Premier League win of the season.
