THE BIG PREVIEW - Sunderland v Brentford - Carabao Cup 4th Round
28.10.26, 11:50
The Black Cats will be looking to secure a place in the quarter-finals and build on the encouraging signs shown in recent European performances.
Régis Le Bris’ side booked their place in the fourth round with a narrow 1-0 victory over Hull City, setting up a challenging all-Premier League encounter against the Bees.
Sunderland head into the tie following a goalless draw with Leeds United at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.
While goals have been difficult to come by in the Premier League, the clean sheet offered some encouragement after a difficult run of results.
