THE BIG PREVIEW: Lech Poznan v Sunderland

Régis Le Bris’ side have made an encouraging start in Europe, recording a 1-0 victory over AZ Alkmaar at the Stadium of Light before producing a late comeback to beat SCU Torreense 2-1 in Portugal.

However, Sunderland head to Poland looking to respond to a difficult run in the Premier League, having suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Bournemouth last weekend.

Lech Poznań, meanwhile, will be determined to get their European campaign up and running after losing their opening two fixtures, although their domestic form suggests Sunderland will face a formidable challenge on Thursday.
