Mundle, who joined Sunderland in February 2024 from Belgian side Standard Liège, has put pen to paper on a deal keeping him on Wearside until 2030.

The winger started his career with Tottenham Hotspur, making his way up to the Under-21 side before opting to switch to Liège in the summer of 2023.

The 23-year-old has eight goal contributions in 52 appearances for the Black Cats, seven of those coming during the Club’s Championship Play-Off winning campaign in 2024-25.
