If you couldn’t make the match, home or away, then Simon and Gary’s antics became your connection to a game.

They gave us exactly what we wanted from games.  Passion, raw emotion, and laughter. They lived, breathed and kicked every ball from their commentary position and communicated it brilliantly to those listening in.

Simon and Gary brought to life Sunderland matches into living rooms, kitchens, cars, and in workplaces, creating a commentary partnership that was as entertaining as it was knowledgeable and informative.

They were colleagues, a commentary partnership but also the best of friends.
