Well my friends, it’s that time of year when the written media, TV pundits and so-called experts get their chance to predict who will be the winners and losers in the forthcoming EPL season but before I begin my effort I must issue a warning.
Some of you may be old enough to remember the BBC programme Tomorrow’s World, which was a long-running series looking at what was new in science and technology, and one night they presented something which caused me to remark that it would never catch on.
That product was microwaves, so before anyone rushes to the bookies to lay down their hard-earned cash based on my suggestions, please be aware that even I accept that when it comes to predictions I am less Mystic Meg, more Deluded Del.
